Uncle Sal and his nephew are like cousins thy are very heartfelt they have best Baklava they have vimto drinks which we all love on Senegal and fresh lamb they got $10 whole chicken beautiful giant trays to eat with family or serve meals and golden or silver teapots they have gum it’s like rosemary or some type of middle eastern herbal gum I now know Matt I think his name is he’s nice the whole family there just a blessing Muchallah

Alhamdulillah! Thanks to God we have a halal meats market closer to home now. This place offers a range of halal meats, both fresh & frozen, as well as a range of Arabic/Mediterranean spices & goods. I have seen some people complaining when this place first switched ownership, because this place wasn't "Hadad's Mediterranean Grill" anymore 🤔🤨 They still serve cooked food as well, although I haven't tried any of their food. I will only say that I can understand a preference for a specific place's shawarma as there are differences between restaurants. I am happy this place came instead. The Muslim community in Poughkeepsie truly needed a Halal butcher, a Halal meat market. We have to drive to Wappingers falls or go to the city or order online otherwise. I even asked for sandwich meats, sliced deli meat like turkey or chicken because they only had pastrami type meats in the freezer & Subhan Allah they started serving deli meats. I haven't had a sliced turkey sandwich or a club sandwich or anything like that for 9 years now because I cannot find halal deli meats. This is a serious thing to finally be able to buy beef bacon, beef sausage or turkey sausage & hot dogs & halal turkey bacon

This is the best halal FRESH store in the area. They sell everything you could ever want. They even sell Afghan bread! I will never drive to the city for my halal groceries ever again. They are also very welcoming. I will be back.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered the falafel wrap meal ahead of time. When I arrived, the super nice guy behind the counter was making my meal fresh, which gave me time to browse the store. I was even offered a sample of the falafel 🤯 — absolutely delicious. Since I had a few minutes, I picked up some small candies (the rose nougat ✨❤️ was amazing), and I let him surprise me with another treat. He chose a piece of baklava that was *so* good it genuinely made my whole workday better. Fresh food, kind people, and incredible flavors — can’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be back.
